Hugelkultur is a German technique of creating garden beds made out of repurposed wood and plant debris. Basically, when we do land reclamation we use the existing debris to create these structures. Flame Torching
We use our flame torch to burn weeds vs spray applications. We also use our torch to preserve wood through an ancient Japanese practice known as Shou sugi ban. We use this method as apposed to using paints and stains which are messy and contain VOC's.
Integrated Pest Managment
We approach pest management by disrupting insects natural life cycles to suppress populations. We apply organic products when pests are at their most vulnerable. We also use barrier methods for deer and tick prevention.
Land Reclamation
We eradicate and suppress invasive species in a space. This includes poison ivy, multiflora rose and Chinese bittersweet among others.
